As a philanthrophic organization, we strive to not only reach out to patients in the pharmacy but to the entire community as a whole. As a professional pharmaceutical fraternity, we understand the importance of giving back to the community and do so through various charity events. A few of the charity events we will be participating in this year include Heel to Heal walk (for Embrace Kids Foundation), Walk for Vision (for Ocular Immunology & Uveitis Foundation), Making Strides walk (for American Cancer Society), and Parkinson’s Unity Walk (for Parkinson’s disease research).  We are also involved with the Embrace Kids Foundation. This organization exists to lighten the burden and improve the quality of life for children with cancer, sickle cell and other serious disorders.
